What tools, AI platforms and opportunities are there for publishers, editors and creatives? A selection of tools, platforms and possibilities. The complete overview is available in the BVPA webinar on 08.10.2024 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m
Introduction
Content creators get fantastic opportunities with AI. AI can, for example, assist here by:
- Create images
- Optimize prompts for image creation
- Recognize objects in images
- Generate image descriptions
- Tagging of images (keywording)
- Create presentations (create slides automatically)
- Social Media Posts automatisch erstellen
- Optimize headlines
For this, no own AI servers need to be purchased. For many use cases, there are even free solutions (often with good rate limiting). Those who want more have the opportunity to train their own AI. This AI is then optimized for their own image styles or other requirements. So, image agencies could generate new images from their existing image material with the help of AI.
The AI results can then be used to turn them into saleable media and ultimately generate more sales with less extra work.
In this case, some legal regulations need to be observed. These include especially copyright law, but also data protection law.
Webinar for picture agencies, publishers and creatives
For the BVPA, the author holds a webinar in which AI tools and platforms for image applications, customer support, and marketing are presented. Legal framework conditions will also be discussed, including the Kneschke case.
The organizer is the BVPA (Federal Association of Professional Image Providers).
There should be something for everyone in the webinar: It covers image creation, keywording, image questioning, deep fake detection, processing customer inquiries, text applications and much more. Important AI basics beyond the often familiar level will also be covered.
You will learn how you can operate your own AI system or use existing platforms. In particular, you will be given an insight into both free and fee-based AI platforms.
Publishers will probably be particularly interested in the option of training an AI image generator with just a few of their own images. The generator then creates any number of new images that match the look and feel of your own templates. Training is even possible on affordable consumer-grade AI hardware. This means that all assets remain with the rights holder. However, it should be noted that some image models, such as the Flux series, have a license that imposes obligations on the user. This will also be discussed in the webinar.
Towards the end of the event, you will have the opportunity to ask questions. Participants will also have the opportunity to obtain information after the event.
